To ensure freshness, apples should be kept refrigerated. Simply remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to serving, cut into 10 - 12 slices and serve for a unique gourmet dessert.

I would have given it 5 stars, and I hate when others do this, but I took off one star for lack of communication with the seller. I asked that the apples be delivered at a later date with no response, and they actually came within a couple of days. That would have been great if I wanted them quickly. I had to keep them refrigerated for a week before I could give them to the recipients. I hope that they stayed fresh.
